David Henry

I am a Mature British Actor with a Warm ,Authoritative, Gentle and Persuasive voice.
I started my VO career aged 12 in South Africa as a leading child actor on SABC and Springbok Radio in English voiced Dramas, Serials, and young ideas programmes.
I emigrated to Australia where I continued my secondary education  followed by Theatre roles in Sydney Melbourne and Adelaide and the VO Field for the ABC and Commercial TV and Radio.
I arrived in England 1n1969 and have been working in All Media esp Classical Theatre at the National Theatre, RSC, Old Vic,Chichester and Young Vic Theatres .
After 20 years in Musical Theatre (My Fair Lady, Carousel, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins) I am reentering the VO field .
I am currently undertaking refresher courses with Gravy For The Brain.
My home studio is now up and running!!
