David Dahdah

My name is David, I'm an up-and-coming Australian born voice actor from Sydney.

My background is in music and recording, so I'm no stranger to the booth. Ever since I was young, I wanted to put my voice into cartoons and games. I remember the first time I realised that Brock from Pokemon and Seto Kaiba from Yugioh were the same voice actor, I was immediately hooked and desperately wanted to get into it.

Unfortunately I'm not invincible. A fear of failure and anxiety held me back for years until I finally made the plunge into the industry. I had tried before but backed out because of excuse after excuse and my only regret is that I didn't start 10 years earlier.

I love doing character voices, but that's not the only place I feel my voice shines. Years of singing has helped me develop my annunciation and projection techniques, and with those skills I am confident with an advertising script. I have also played dungeons and dragons for a few years now, so my improv chops are improving steadily. I'm no Middleditch or Schwartz, but by golly do I try.
