Derek B. Gayle
I'm a writer, podcaster, and actor who has been on local stages and in video productions for over 20 years, including professional awards-nominated productions. As a podcaster, I've contributed my voice to hundreds of podcast episodes and video essays for a decade now, and co-founded The Glitterjaw Queer Podcast Collective. Currently, I host and produce five pop culture analysis podcasts, in addition to developing several new shows and mentoring up and coming podcasters.
I'm most excited to work on audio dramas with queer stories, sci-fi/fantasy, and horror! I'm looking forward to helping smaller creators bring their stories to life.
Why I'm here? I love acting, but my time on stage has to be limited now because of my podcasting commitments. Voice acting is an exciting way for me to continue creating art on indie projects and strengthening my acting muscles from my own home studio!
