Crooked Stories Productions
@crookedstoriesproductionsA Storytelling Podcast Company
Crooked Stories is an audio-only, storytelling podcast of primarily episodic, scripted content across multiple genres, including light horror, dramedy, sitcom, sci-fi and more. Our most successful stories will be expanded into full series projects arcing over multiple years, allowing our teams to explore deeper levels of storytelling with beloved characters.
—
Beginning with hiring top voice talent to work with our existing team, Crooked Stories will eventually open submissions from directors, musicians, show runners, writers, comedians, artists and anyone else looking to showcase their talent and build out their portfolio.
—
Available:Find us on Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeart and more.
—
Our goal:Generate opportunities for creatives interested in top-quality storytelling.
—
Our plan:Release 5 or 6 major scripted projects per year while mixing in one-off stories and events such as a narrated short story or an improv special as a stand-alone project.
—
Our first audio story:Devil’s Due, a supernatural Western, features eight 10- to 12-minute episodes scheduled for release over a 7-week period. The project debuts in December.

Interested in working with Crooked Stories?We hope so, because we’re interested in working with you. So, let’s talk pay. Crooked Stories wants you to make money. We’re hopeful to grow into a “pay upfront” model. For now, we’re offering all talent a percentage of advertising profits (based on a point system) relative to the size of the role played. Please know upfront: although we have high hopes, realistically we don’t expect the returns to be much, if anything at all.
—
If you’re interested in telling great stories and working with a fun team as we build out our model, we’d love to have you on our roster.
—
Quick note:Crooked Stories is focused on telling interesting human stories with heart. It’s about having fun while creating opportunities and building skills. In short, all stories are by humans, for humans (BHFH). Though, we do invite your pets to listen, too.
