Deakin University Burwood Devised Performance, final graduate piece for 2015. 'Make Sense...' was presented and performed by then ensemble 'Fort Knight', comprised of class members: Claire Wilkinson, Louise Richardson, Isabella Tolley , and Raymond Comeros.

Reality is coined up to whatever one would make of the world around them, however perception and interpretation are so easily led astray amidst vices, regrets, perhaps even voices among others.  Delusion then can be a most comfortable place, a nice place to conceal away oneself within the euphoric shroud that is ... whatever one would like, even if it is futile, even if one must pretend, even if it hurts, and even it is not real. At its core, this devised performance playfully explores the idea of a 'desired reality'. Each member of the team contributing and adding elements that compliment each other whilst thematically adding to the harmonic discord. 'Things aren't always what they appear to be' is a driving ethos in the design of this short piece from the dishevelled scenery, seemingly disjointed dialogue, and omnipresence of the bodies in the space never truly leaving it. Viewers are sure to be perplexed initially, but will soon find open ended meanings after the fact or with another glance.
