For years I have been a student of voice actors and live into the famous line by Robin Williams in his role as Mrs. Doubtfire, "Well, I do voices." From the cartoonish to the serene, I have made a practice of doing voices in strait theater and musicals. 

When speaking for and leading a retreat, my philosophy for communication is one that embodies an overall narrative arc. This arc follows not only the overall chosen retreat theme, but the keynote, the opening, and closing worship as well as the planned devotional periods. By doing this, the listener engages in one dynamic and unified story that not only energizes and captivates for each keynote but also deepens understanding of the material at hand, effecting a profound connection.
