@cmdallasChaotic trans creative. 15+ years of experience in creative writing & design.
My freelance design career has given me many creative tools over the years. I've been a ghostwriter, copywriter & editor, brand designer & narrative writer. I have a New Media & Digital Design degree, with UX/UI certification. On top of a Game Narrative & Story Development certificate. Check out my portfolio.
My creative wheelhouse is vast, and if I can't do it, I more than likely know someone who can. I'm here to work with other creatives and put all of my tools to the best use possible. I love passion projects that inspire me, and I also love to help people bring their passion projects to life.
My new business, Wayward Writers, has just launched and has 8 open slots for creative writing coaching/editing/support for fellow Queer, trans, nonbinary, neurodivergent, and disabled community members. We also help people outside the community craft authentic voices and do sensitivity evaluations.
Associates of New Media & Digital Design w UX/UI Cert.
During my two years at Pierce, I took numerous classes to sharpen the tools in my creative toolbox and expanded into new areas I had only dreamed of. Towards the end of the last year in school, I spent a few months as a design mentor and tutor to help my fellow students. I did all of this to be able to better serve my queer/trans siblings in the community in any way I can. Due to my maintaining a 4.0 GPA through nearly all of my classes, I ended up on a lot of lists and was invited to join Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
I like to work within budgets of those creative projects I take part in, within reason.
My primary goal as a creative is helping to tell stories that need telling. Being a queer, trans person, I want to tell stories I recognize myself in, or see the umbrella of my community in. LGBTQIA2S+ content is my focus. After that, I just love supporting other creatives in bringing characters and stories to life. It's a passion I've had for my entire life, and the only thing that I sincerely find fulfilling.
I'm considering expanding my business into more of a production-oriented setup, and opening it up into more of a creative co-op type venture. After all, I know a lot of creatives looking for jobs that I can't do, or don't want to do. So why not share the spotlight?
