I'm here to hunt for VA for fan-made projects. Mainly anime related abridgement/amv.
I could not dream of ever doing what you all do, so much awe and respect to you!

I have some amv, and I like doing tutorial videos on ffmpeg/blender/whatever lately.
-rabbit (requires quick email signup, but enables easy drop in and talk)
-jitsu via riot.im (no signup needed, drop in via link, harder to setup though)
-teamspeak (requires you download the client, clunky ui)
-qTox (requires you download the client (fast), safest and can share files easily)
I've done all past projects using Rabbit pretty much, we haven't had any problems. I don't use discord or skype, so please don't ask to use them.
Things I ask for in recordings:
-Actual microphone (~100$ area or better); pop filter and other equipment is not really necessary as we can work around those.
-Record in stereo 48khz @ 32 bit float
-record in any range above -30db (I'd rather people record at a level where they don't have to worry about clipping and can focus on the lines)
-avoid clipping
-Export recordings and email me them in .wav 16bit signed (aac/opus 320bitrate+ is
acceptable if internet bandwidth is an issue)
Higher formats and mono tracks are acceptable, but let me know beforehand. Generally files are shared via google drive and gmail. Drop box for larger files outside that range.
Just ask if I'm not making sense or you need more information on something. If you know more than me, teach me. If I know more than you, I'll teach you. Sound good? Elitism will be frowned upon, trying is all that matters.
