About cassidyvegavo

I'm a total beginner, but really, aren't we all? The beginner's mind is where I believe we should all start from, whether we've been doing something for one hour or ten thousand hours. That's where we are truly open to creativity, to curiosity and wonder, and to collaboration. I am passionate about media and art of all kinds, because I have seen media deeply touch and affect and change the course of people's lives since I was very young - beginning with the ways in which fictional characters in the TV shows my parents watched while I was in the room shaped my inner world as a child, then spreading to my undying love of video games since the days of our ATARI 7800, GameCube, and my earliest gaming PC, and carrying through to the shows, movies, games, and stories of all kinds that I was drawn to through the years. This all led up to now, when I finally found a way to be a part of the golden thread of storytelling we all hold a piece of as humans - by learning to use my voice to play roles in those stories. If we align, let's talk, and maybe co-create the next great story that will inspire... well, the next me, or the next you.

Pricing

I am willing to work with you as a co-creator for what to charge, seeing as I am without any formal experience at the moment, but as I land roles and make my way in the field, I will likely charge more than what I start with. If we are aligned and we end up working together, I am very amenable to negotiating what works for both of us!

What cassidyvegavo is looking for

I am looking to lend my voice to video games, animation projects including TV and movies, commercial narration (for ethical brands only), and audiobook narration. I also wouldn't mind breaking into the e-learning space if anything like that presents itself and the timing is right. I joined CCC because I know that I can't let my fears stop me from putting myself out there - I might be inexperienced and clumsy right now, but we all start somewhere, and I know I will look back one day on the first projects I did, not with confidence that I was a total pro from day one, but with pride and love at where I started and how far I've come.
