Voice Acting for Animation is what I do best!   My work as a filmmaker has gotten me international press, lots of festival awards, and hundreds of thousands of views online, but I'm mainly on here to pursue voice acting in other peoples' projects!

About BaruchFilms

My name is Kennedy J. Baruch, and I'm a total creative-hyphenate.

-My dayjob is in TV editing on two major television shows on Bravo/Peacock, and I've spent my entire career working in indie film primarily as a writer-director, sometimes animator, sometimes producer.

-But I really love voice acting, as it's what I find the most fun, and what I seem to be best at doing.

My background is:--I directly studied voice acting under the wonderful Lainie Frasier, who voiced Tails in the Sonic OVA and Aurora in Metroid Prime 3 (among many others). I took all 3 of her voice acting workshops, before she then mentored me 1-on-1 and recorded my voice demo with me.

--I graduated film school from UT Austin. I focused on directing, writing, and 2D animation.

--I wrote & directed a short film published on IGN, Destructoid & most of the gaming sites (labeled "The Greatest Zelda Fan Film of All Time", currently sitting at 130,000 views)

--I recently started pursuing Nintendo & Sonic the Hedgehog-related content creation (you can find me as @BaruchFilms on YouTube, TikTok & Instagram)

--My first animation was broadcast on PBS as well as ESPN's Longhorn Network.

--I am located in Austin, TX and live in the Central-Standard Time Zone.

My specs for voice recording are:

--Microphone: Audio-Technica AT4050 Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone

--Recorder: Zoom H6 Six-Track Portable Recorder

--Booth Setup: Mic plugged into Zoom, mic attached to mic stand with a pop filter in front of it, lines printed (annotated) and read off of a music stand, all in a closet converted into a sound-proofed recording booth using professional-grade sound-proofing foam

--DAW: Garage Band, and full Adobe Suite (though, due to the Zoom's built-in features and excellent recording, I usually just send or edit with the files directly from that)

--Internet/Upload: Google Fiber, with 2TB on Google Drive

I would just like to note that the microphone I use is the exact same model that Lainie Frasier uses for her workshops and demo recordings, meaning the sound quality you hear in my voice demo is the same quality you will receive from my home recordings in my personal sound booth. I use a professional-grade voice acting microphone in a professional-grade sound booth.

--Additionally, Austin has several local businesses that rent out video & audio equipment on short notice, so even if some sort of tragedy were to befall my equipment, I'd have options for getting temporary replacements within 24-hours, for any rush recordings needed.

--I'm a chameleon of voices, and if you're ever unsure of whether I can do it - I can do it. Just listen to my demo, and keep in mind it's the tip of the iceberg!
