very good interpretation. accent is also good. lose the ac noise and the try to sound a little bit older and you'd be a top contender. the character age is 35, i'm hearing 21. try out the other two female characters as well.
thanks, I think I found a way to minimize the background noise, but I'm not sure how to make her sound older. let me know if i should re-audition <3
look man i'm about to pour thousands of hours into this short film through sheer passion, paying homage if you will, and i want the voices to match the original. there are two other female characters who don't need a voice match. so if you can't manufacture an older sounding voice you have two options. grow 14 years older and retake the audition, or try out the other characters that aren't so specific and demanding. the likelihood of anyone getting cast for this role without being atleast 80% similar to the original, and i'm compromising here, is close to 0%
