@ariel-nightingale(Pro)Creator and World-builder | Storyteller, Illustrator, and Animator DPS | (Soon-to-be) Pixel Art Goddess
You've got your eyes on me?
I'm a (Pro)Creator and World-builder with a background in concept art, illustration, and storyboarding across the animation, video games, comics, and publishing industries. Throughout my 8 year-long experience in visual development, I collaborated with diverse teams and taken on both creative and organizational roles.
To name a few, I...
• Designed a Spotify album cover for the record label of the Italian indie singing duo 'Malìa'
• Wore the many hats of a graphic designer as an intern at the Italienisches Kulturinstitut, Stuttgart (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation)
• Collaborate on a regular basis with a geopolitical analyst to communicate her insights visually to the general public as well as field experts
• Always look forward to the the next competition, challenge, and commission gauntlet to pick up! My latest pitches include themed portfolio submissions for a webtoon and a video game in the making and posters for the 2025 Soria Short Film Contest Poster Competition (to be published in my portfolio one week after results are out), UN Tunisie, and Bologna Children's Book Fair.
Storytelling is at the heart of my creative process. I devote my time to tales that shake me to the core. As one heart of the internationally acclaimed co-author for the Carillon Twins on the Commaful indie platform, I'm a spokeswoman with personal stakes in LGBTQ+, female empowerment, and disability causes.
I'm also a polyglot with 5 languages (Italian, English, French, German, Chinese) under my belt and professional experience in interpreting and translation in cultural diplomacy and science communication. Telling stories to build bridges and lending my voice to those who don't have a say bring me purpose beyond art— thus, the Muses bestowed the name 'Ariel Nightingale' upon me.
At the moment, I'm looking to bring my art to your creative Round Table. So, do I have the X factor to join your team?
Feel free to reach out to me and we can enter into calls! I'll be more than happy to connect on (CCC), LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/grazia-testa-324249287), Behance (https://www.behance.net/graziatesta), and Discord (ariel.nightingale)— in due time! If I don't answer right away, please be aware that I might just be currently too busy playing God with my art but I will get back to you as soon as possible.

It truly depends on the type of project, the role I'm cast for, and the amount of blood, sweat, and tears I have to invest in my art, writing, and voice acting. Fees are negotiable but, as a rule of thumb:
• 150 EUR per artwork or 500 EUR monthly given my extensive background in concept art, storyboarding, and visual development across the animation, video games, comics, cultural diplomacy, science communication, and publishing industries.
• 150 EUR per written piece or 500 EUR monthly given my writing experience as internationally acclaimed co-author for an the Carillon Twins on the Commaful indie platform, as well as on Kindle Vella and WeHeart It.
• The following rates apply for a translation from source to target language per standard page (approx. 1500 characters incl. spaces / about 220-250 words): English ↔ Italian: €20-30 ; English ↔ French€25-30 ; English ↔ German: €25-30 ; English ↔ Chinese: €40-50.
• 50 EUR per hour as a voice actress, since I'm moving my first steps into the voice-over world, even if I have all trasnferrable skills necessary thanks to my experience as a conference interpreter.
In short: Character-driven fantasy and sci-fi projects preferred (especially games and books) with a touch of fairytale and vintage glimmering in their worlds. Original over fan; paid > deferred > unpaid. No NSFW submissions. Cursing and sensitive topics, on the other hand, are not an issue.
I seek to bring vibrant characters to life by lending them my art, my writing, and my voice. In exchange, I want to explore the enchanting worlds they live in and be surprised by each of their unique stories— better yet, resonate with their experiences. I’m passionate about diving into roles that allow me to channel my love for fantasy and science fiction—genres where the boundary between reality and imagination blurs, and where every character feels like a friend just waiting to be heard. I look for projects that explore depth, whether it's in world-building, complex narratives, and characters with raw, real emotion. Casting Call Club is one of my gateways to connect with creators who see voice not just as sound but as the heart of their story.
I gravitate toward roles that invite adventure, creativity, and a touch of the fantastical. My favorite projects often involve layered, well-developed worlds where the character’s journey feels like a real emotional expedition. I’m especially drawn to fantasy and science fiction genres with a fairytale- or vintage-like twist because they allow me to express both strength and vulnerability, tapping into that sense of “divine creation” that fuels my own writing and artistic endeavors. I also appreciate work that challenges me—projects where I can refine my skills, embodying different accents, tones, or character archetypes.
Ultimately, I want my art, my writing, and my voice to be the vessel through which others find themselves lost in a story, to create that timeless, magical moment where listeners see their own emotions reflected in a character. I hope to grow alongside the stories I voice, learning to bring more authenticity, range, and nuance to every role. Long-term, I envision contributing to projects that leave a lasting impact, connecting with audiences worldwide and inspiring new perspectives.
I joined Casting Call Club to immerse myself in a community of like-minded creators, where art, writing, and voice acting become a shared celebration of creativity. It’s a place to hone my craft and to contribute to stories that need a voice willing to listen as much as speak. Here, I can connect with others who understand the artistry of storytelling and the magic of a character’s voice—a community that reminds me that the only limit is the sky itself.
