About AranelOmalora
Most of my experience is onscreen or theatre, but I am enjoying the differences and similarities in voice work!
Resumes and links are available upon request.
I am also a published model, as well as a semi-pro cosplayer and a mermaid.
"Aranel Ómalóra" is Sindarin (Tolkien Elvish) for the "voiceless princess" or "princess without a voice," a reference to Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water." While I am not mute like Elisa in the film, I do have a social anxiety disorder that makes performing quite arduous. As a child, my disorder was often debilitating, effectively "taking my voice." As it affected me well into adulthood, I began seeking ways to challenge myself and - to make a long story short - I was eventually led to acting. It seemed like a meaningfully ironic username for a voice acting site. 😊
I'm not going to post the same "This was so much fun!" comment on every audition. It feels inauthentic. I research everything before I submit an audition and more than likely, if I am auditioning, I like your idea. You can expect that I will be fully invested and enthusiastic about your project.
I am represented by East Coast Talent Agency, Atlanta, GA.
