Hi! My name is Sara, I am a writer and director with a degree in film and television production from Full Sail University. I was born and raised in Tacoma WA, and currently live in Jersey City, NJ just across the Hudson from NYC. I've directed several short films including Foster Bridge, All My Days, and In the Maze, and I have trained under director Kevin O’Neill in a director’s acting course, which gave me a strong foundation in performance and communication from both sides of the camera.

Every year, I challenge myself creatively by participating in the NYC Midnight screenwriting competition, where I get to experiment with new genres and surprise myself with what’s possible under a ticking clock. I love jumping between genres—whether it’s comedy, fantasy, drama, or suspense—and I approach each new project with a sense of curiosity, collaboration, and a genuine love of fun.

Outside of this, I am an avid reader and audiobook enjoyer, I am an animal person (I have a cat named Piper, a dog named Maizy, and a rabbit named Foster), I like finding cute coffee shops, singing and playing music, gaming, and going to concerts.
