About Martin Lovell

I'm a professional voice actor based in Essex, specialising in video game, animation and audio drama. My natural accent is Estuary English, with a playing range of mid-20s to late middle age and elderly, and a strong repertoire of additional accents including RP, Cockney, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Yorkshire, West Country, Geordie, General American and Australian.

My credits include multiple principal roles in Fallout 4: London (Team FOLON, directed by Dean Carter), Master Aryon in TESR Skywind, Girls Night Out - winner of Best Fiction Podcast at the Women in Podcasting Awards 2024 - and audiobook narration on Audible. My reels were produced by Damn Good Voices.

I record from a professional home studio - Rode Procaster, Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen, Reaper - and am set up for remote directed sessions via Source Connect.

Pricing

For live directed sessions: £125-150 per hour, 1 hour minimum.

For self-directed/independent recording: £3-4 per line, £100 minimum.

What Martin Lovell is looking for

I'm here primarily for indie and mid-tier game projects, audio drama, and narrative work. I'm particularly drawn to character-driven projects - morally complex roles, grounded authority figures, comic character work - where performance genuinely matters.

My rates follow the VAC Indie Rate Guide: £125-150/hr for live directed sessions, £3-4 per line for self-directed recordings with a £100 minimum. For exceptional projects that genuinely excite me I'm open to discussing deferred arrangements on a case by case basis.

In the longer term I'm working toward full-time voice acting and building my credits across game VO, animation and audio drama. I joined CCC because some of the most interesting narrative projects start here, and I'd rather be part of something good early than miss it entirely.

I'm not available for fandubs, unpaid commercial work or projects without a clear production plan. If you're a serious developer or producer with a real project, I'd love to hear from you.
