Lexi Conwell is an eclectic composer originally hailing from Minnesota. With a performance focus on looping violin, they tend to blend classical and folk influences with improvisation to create adventurous, cosmic compositions. When working behind the computer, they enjoy the breadth that synths and other digital instruments provide beyond the constraints of a looping pedal.
Their first album of looping violin music, Fractal Skies, takes listeners on a journey beginning with an earthly apocalypse out into space, before returning to healed Earth.
I enjoy audio fiction, and I'd love to get into animation. I have a lot of experience writing loop-layered violin music, but have broadened my instrumental horizons with tools like Ableton and enjoy the opportunity to write lyrics. I hope to eventually become a full time composer and voice actor.
