Josh Beard

Josh has worked in front of a camera, podium, or microphone for 8 years. He has a love for telling a good story. He doesn’t usually speak in the 3rd person.

After teaching English and Drama for over a decade, Josh found his favorite thing was acting out the characters while he read aloud for others to hear. So, he decided to do that full-time. He truly believes that everyone has a story, big or small.

His voice is deep, cinematic, and full of grit, or warm and fatherly, yet also ranges to casual and friendly. Throw in a couple-dozen different characters, and there’s a high chance his voice is right for your project. 

Born and raised in South Carolina, Josh speaks two languages: English and Southern. While his every-day accent is now neutral American, he also does a variety of authentic Southern dialects. Whether you need rugged Western, Appalachian, good-’ol hillbilly, Southern gentile, or something in between, he’s got you covered.

Josh isn’t content to leave a client feeling anything less than amazed. He communicates, takes direction, adapts, and does everything possible to give the perfect take the first time around.
