While acting in front of a camera for all to see was never something that called out to me, providing life and personality to create something more than just characters on a page while within the security of the background is something I’ve never shied away from. Being an avid reader myself, I can absolutely attest that helping to give each character, or just the tone of story itself a personality beyond what is simply written on the page is what really brings a book to life. That is something that I look forward to and love to do. Although I never really recognized it myself until years later, I have received many compliments over the years on the pleasantry of my voice. My years working in customer service as well have helped to build the art of speaking. My normal every day voice is a calm, compassionate and reassuring voice, leaning more on the deep end. With little work, it can moved to a more gruff or even seductive voice, or higher for a pleasant and excited one, eager to offer help. I don’t shy away from any topic or genre and can be the voice you need me to be. I want to make sure that everyone’s ideas can be heard one way or another.
