(Previous experience as a telephony engineer with Cisco and Avaya, I know firsthand how important a professional and non-irritating IVR truly is for customer retention if your business expects long wait times)
This alongside years of amateur character and puppetry work, I've always enjoyed entertaining people with vocal mimicry. I find myself having a fair amount of vocal similarities to Chris McCullouch, Seth Rogen, Mike Judge, Mark Hamill, Patrick Warburton, and Justin Roiland with the ability to mimic many of their characters to an eerie degree. I can also call on many original characters I've developed over the years of interacting with people doing telephony repair (hint: it's lots of people) to bring depth to any comedic, dramatic or tragic tale to be told.
I'm a professional voice actor looking to expand his experience, gain credits and practice the craft with other professionals or on my own, however the project requires. I'm looking to fulfill paid work and no longer have availability in my schedule for gratis work.

A fantastic two-day workshop during a convention that was *wildly* worth the price of admission. We covered many different aspects of character creation and voice locations, as well as proper form and function in finding new ways to create vocal characters.
Absolutely 100% worth the money. He's the best in the biz for an extremely good reason. He made every single one of us in that class not only feel valued, but *seen*
Charlie truly cares about his students and it was a complete honor to take fantastic direction and advice. Plus it's just hysterical and you find yourself constantly amused and learning something.
I won't lie, the entrance fee can be steep for the beginners class, ($500) but I'm telling you, it is WORTH IT. For real, if you want to be a voice actor, taking ANY of his classes should be a bucket list item.

this is a program with a variety of several recurring classes in improv, cold reads, showcase skills, character and commercial approach, warm up techniques and many more essential skills critical to those either starting out or in the midpoint of their voice over journey

I have only met Alben recently but from the moment we had our first recording call, I knew he was going to do such great performances out of the characters I had. I absolutely love working with him and I am extremely lucky to have an amazing actor like him onboard my projects. Bringing a huge line of wacky and sophisticated characters.
