My name is Stephanie and I’ve known my entire life I wanted to be an actor. My experience started off in theater and I was later accepted to VCU for Acting, but life took its tolls and we couldn’t afford college. My life took a turn when I joined the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Analyst. I lived many places, was able to help my family, get on my own two feet, meet my husband, and start a family. It is difficult to make the decision to switch careers, especially when your experience became something unexpected. Being an Intelligence Analyst trained me to understand the details of people and situations, as well as the big picture, in a profound way. When I left the military, being an investigator allowed me to continue to build on that experience and knowledge. Life was great, except for the heavy, broken heart I carried for not following my dreams.
