Bud Bits is an eccentric character, but otherwise helpful and actually smart when it counts the most. Bud is a lead role and the third main character to the story. He is pretty easygoing and he can be very humorous, a class clown to put it into easier words. He enjoys making others laugh and putting a smile on his friends' faces. He was formerly a comedian before becoming a member of the royal guard along with Lullaby. He is often not taken seriously and laughs at himself when making mistakes or being clumsy, while more often than not the villagers will laugh at him and not with him (but his friends and people he is closest to laugh with him). He looks pretty average, having brown hair and brown eyes. He does have romantic feelings towards Lullaby, but doesn't show it very well until further along into the plot. I imagine his voice being clear, but with a bit of rasp to it. He should also carry a lot of optimism in his voice. His singing range should be that of a tenor, as his voice is fairly high for a man, but not so high that he sounds like a woman or a child.
