SCENE: CASUAL/DEEP ROUTE PROLOGUE BAD END

In this scene, MC aggravates Unknown to the point of him coming out of hiding. He has been watching our unknowing heroine to make sure she arrives at her destination. So much for that.

The plan failed...I'll have to find someone else.

MC

This is creepy...I'm getting out of here...

UNKNOWN

Hmm...That's feisty~ I'd like to let you go, but you already know me. Sorry, but you'll have to come with me. (pause) I could just get rid of you...but that'd be a shame. You're so cute. (MC: ad lib discomfort) You can be my assistant. Come here. I'll be good to you. Come with me.

MC

(She fears what will happen to her if she doesn’t comply)

Okay…

Haha! I can feel...that you're quite similar to me. (Aside) This is exciting. Well, you never had a choice anyways. Now, let's go. I'll be nice. I'm a much better person than…(snarl) him.

(In this scene, Ray is enthusiatically showing Emerys around his garden, eager to have a new friend who shares his flowery passions.)

It's so great to be with you.
(referring to the flowers) Aren't they beautiful?
I feel so...great! I feel great about you, about this garden, the moon...! It's been three days since you came. Whenever I wake up, I keep checking the chat log. It still feels like a dream that you're here.

Just what do you do here, Ray?

What do I do..? I do a lot of things, but they're essentially the same thing. Everything in this place is administered by my supervisor. I can't help being busy. There are still people out there who need our help-Oh! Watch your feet! Sorry...there are still construction materials left behind. I told them to clean up...(with disdain) It seems they didn't finish their job. This building has not been completed yet. It's complete on the outside, but the basement is still under construction. You'll soon be able to roam around the building as you please, though a special contract would be necessary. But...um...let's not talk about that right now. If you want to be one of us forever, I'll do everything in my power to help you. Oh...the wind's gotten icy. You shouldn't catch cold, Emerys (EM-eh-reez). I'd love to talk to you longer...(He isn't quite ready to tell her just how much yet.) I'll walk you to your room.

(This is a phone call at the end of Saeran's route, after he has been freed of Mint Eye's grip.)

It's me. I was calling in case you were wondering where I was. I'm outside right now. I was planning to go out for a bit but...it's taking longer than I thought. The thing is, I saw a primrose in the forest on the way here. I don't like picking flowers, but...I really wanted to give you a gift.

When I was young, I was given a bibliography book of flowers. The shape immediately caught my eye. It's white and round and looks like a bell. The image just...took over my heart. And when I looked up its flower language, I liked it even more. 

The primrose means "promise of happiness". I dreamt of someday looking at that flower as a truly happy person. And my dream came true the moment you came into my life. I have been happy since the day I met you as Ray.

Even if my past is painful, even if the echoes of that awful place still ring in my mind...I'll believe in myself, because I am free to choose. I choose to get away from this cozy pain. I choose to open my eyes to the truth and refuse illusions and fantasies. And I choose...to love you.
