Gyro is a complex character, a cocky executioner scarred by his past. To his enemies, he’s cocky and aggressive, having his own reasons to pursue first place in the Steel Ball Run. Gyro is stern, and will not hesitate to argue with anyone, even his closest friend, Johnny Joestar. Gyro also has a sympathetic side, as he’s always willing to help someone in need, as his motivation for entering the “Steel Ball Run” race is to save the life of a 9-year-old child. No accent is required, however if you want to do one you may go ahead!
Vocal Range: Anywhere from Medium to Deep.
(Worried yet still mostly unwavering. Lecturing Johnny in desperate moments). "I've got no choice. We're cornered, so I have to teach you. First off, Johnny, let me tell you one thing. Starting now, you can only say the words, 'There is no way I can do this!' four times, and four times only. Alright? Four times. That's what my father taught me when I was a kid."
(Arrogant and intimidating after catching a thief). "Give me the coins you swiped from me! If I’m $20 short I wouldn’t be able to enter the race, Would I? I wouldn’t be able to enter the race… and win, Would I?"
(Cautioning Johnny as he is about to touch his steel ball). "Hey, don’t touch it! It’s still spinning!"
(Excited). "Nyo ho ho!"
