Lt Subik is the former royal guard to D'Wanna, queen of Verdi.  She is also the third princess and is the stepdaughter to the queen.  In season one she was chosen by Rico Sanchez to be his bride, and has given up her height to be with him and joined Saratoga as a pilot in Confed's navy.
