SimplySpaghetti for Lightning Strike
Lightning Strike is an Original Character by RaylanKrios, the author of the story. He is a buff earth pony a Captain of the royal guard, and very adept at covering his tracks and leaving no evidence when he hurts Scootaloo. He is very manipulative and intimidating, and will sound very brutish. Near the end of the series, he will be killed off, when he tries to kill Rainbow Dash, but fails and falls through the clouds into the Everfree Forest floor.
Since this character is an OC, and not a canonical character in the real television show, he can have whatever voice and accent you want, as long as he sounds intimidating. He should be able to fake being a good character, but also be able to go totally insane. The actor playing him must display a wide range of emotions.
[innocent facade, faking it]: With all due respect, I love Scootaloo as if she were my own daughter.
[Threatening, voice dangerously low]: You think you’ve won some sort of victory today? FPS won’t find anything. And when I get her back, I won’t just hurt her; I’m going to destroy her. Then, when I’m finished, I’m coming for you. So enjoy it while it lasts, because I’ll be seeing you soon.
Not bad at all! However, when you read the "you think you've won" speech the first time, you sounded very desperate, almost helpless. Lightning is a character that is very sure of himself and his intentions. You are being considered for the role, but if you could try looking at a character like Kent Mansley from The Iron Giant, that would be leaning more towards what I am going for here. In the Iron Giant, he is able to flip a switch on and off, acting good for Hogarth's mother, but instantly being able to turn interrogative on Hogarth. So, try finding an appropriate balance between the "good" and bad side of Lightning strike. Get emotional, but not so much that Lightning sounds desperate. He has to be confident.
