Background: Darlia grew up surrounded by natural disasters. During much of the terraforming the Pangols performed, the half inch sea would occasionally flood and overtake her village. Even at a young age, she would frequently volunteer and assist in recovery and prevention. By her teenage years, she proposed to build city hall on a stronger set of stilts, working to cut through a lot of the taboos around rebuilding already established structures for the sake of universal safety. Eventually the department of Catastrophe picked her up and assigned her as a first responder. Magical and natural disasters assaulted councilor’s disposition on life in general. Though at some point, it was rumored something snapped in her head, and now she’s bizarrely disconnected to the disasters surrounding her. Through a cheerful, collected tone that became her trademark; she is well liked throughout Hearth. Despite her worryingly disconnected disposition, she retains a reputation as a calm collected voice in the face of disaster.
Personality: Sweet, Patient, Understanding. There is a thin veneer under her cheerful disposition that much of her cheerfulness is a defense mechanism to cope with the horrors she’s faced. Shockingly optimistic.
Tone: Like that of a doting mother or grandmother. I definitely want a Pennsylvanian accent.

hey it's not as bad as you think. a few notes for the future: 1. You're a little too close to the microphone or are lacking a pop filter. I recommend backing off some. 2. your performance sounds a little too slow and labored so the voice comes off a bit forced. something like this usually calls for something a little peppier.
