Sorcerer Kantobar is a prime example of Sorcery at it's most stable. That is not saying much. In this particular scene, Kantobar is a special guest Sorcerer for Magus Serling Tenthorn, to explain to acolytes what it means to be a sorcerer. He is a tad arrogant, wreathed in gravitas, at least until he slides into a surprisingly casual tone. he's quite nonchalant when it comes to talking shop about his craft. but when he is crossed, he goes full megalomaniac as he channels impossibly strong magics.
This is a very clean slate of a character, you have an idea for a supervillain or someone evil sounding, by all means. have fun with it!
KANTOBAR
You’d think. But instead it fills
me with powers from beyond, and I
channel as if I ruled time and
space! Haha!!!*thunder clap*
KANTOBAR (CONT’D)
Gah! How dare you steal my thunder,
thunder!KANTOBAR
Hah! you are indeed entitled to
your opinion, but these clouds have
been taking hard turns to rain
directly on my house and I am tired
of it.
(calling outside)
You hear me, cloud?! Your kind
shall darken my doorstep no longer!Well basically, I go outside and
scream obscenities at powers beyond
my understanding to rile it up. I
have a lot of ether so it’s very
easy to be noticed by the elements.
Once they take notice they attempt
to smite me.SERLING TENTHORN
Sound dangerous.
KANTOBAR
Yyyyep. Then I let it hit me.
Don't be afraid to belt it out and yell those lines. I can hear a tad bit of the room but I have strong enough software to smooth that out.
