My name is Josh! I am a 33 year old, Marine Corps veteran, with a love for gaming and talking. This is kind of why I'm here. I've been recently debating on getting into voice acting as a hobby just to help pass the time and potentially make a mark as a main voice in a game one day. Of course; that is a goal and something I will continue to strive for.
To give some background of myself; I'm very new to the whole acting gig in general. Never really took any drama or acting classes, and I haven't, unfortunately, worked with anyone that has been able to help me fully utilize my voice to the best of its ability (currently looking around my area to see what I can find). One things for sure though, I have a lot of heart and will pour it all into anything that I audition for, of course, if I'm given the opportunity to.
I'm currently taking classes to get my Bachelors of Science in Information Technology and focus heavily on technical support and help desk support. My main priority with this degree is to better learn how to work with networks and data. This would be a huge opportunity to for me in the future; so I'm doing my best to stay on track.
I currently live in Alabama, and can do a pretty "okay" southern accent, but I have also lived in other areas of the country, so I don't necessarily have a thick accent. I've traveled to many countries before, as well. Including Spain, Ireland, Germany, Bulgaria, and even Afghanistan (military tours).
Now; that may come off as intimidating, but I do my best to give everyone the same respect they give me. So, as long as we have no major issues, I will consider you a friend.
Also; any suggestions, tips, advice, and criticism is welcome. I will not get upset. This entire thing I'm doing is new to me, so anyone who has more experience will always have something to teach me.
Thank you.
