  • (CHORUS)[1:28]

    Those memories that I have,

will lead me onto a path.

I will follow it to find you,

    again, bring you home.

    I know I'll find you,

    I still believe.

You have a beautiful voice and damn can you sing. My only problem is there seems to be some random breaks and on line 4-5, some of the notes are off (they are two high). Wonderful job though! Also do you worry about submitting the wrong audition, it sounded really good though :P

Thanks so much! :) I would love to fix the mistakes wherever they are, just wondering exactly where the random breaks are so I can fix them spot on! Also, on my very last take, my voice totally went off key for the last two lines but I was wondering if you meant it for just that last take or for all 3 takes (that it went to high)!?

The breaks come after every last word from almost every line; you're adding a full rest when you shouldn't. Also, don't drop the lines for the second last line, keep the energy of your vocals full. As for note pitches, I think this cover will help; https://youtu.be/n35ozwOQbKw Thank you!

I was singing it completely acapella without my backtrack at all/I wasn't listening to the song as I sang for the audition since its just the auditions. So dont get me wrong, when the official covers comes along it will be perfectly timed, but for the audition I feel like its a tiny bit to much to expect from an audition to be perfectly timed. The auditions are to get an idea of what the voice sounds like/can I hit the notes and most everyone will go acapella for it. I respect you decision 100% if this is your way of having the auditions go but especially when it comes to music auditions it wont have perfect timing unless you exclusively ask for them to listen to the song as they audition. I so totally respect your decision though and i'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful, its just that I feel to much is being expected from only auditions that breaks in between lines that are only a split second becomes an issue. Once again, I understand if you find me being rude right now and I'm so sorry if that's how you see it and I understand if you dislike me now. I totally understand the needing to keep full vocals towards the end though. I'm still confused however where it is that I am missing the pitches. I'm not sure if you just mean that a singular note or two is off but that's a bit different from a full pitch I believe. So yeah, just wondering where exactly/which take it is that my pitch is off. :) Once again thanks for reading this and giving my audition a chance!! I really do appreciate it and I'm sorry if it seems like I was just talking back to talk back haha

You are absolutely correct and I was thinking of that. I don't find you rude at all and I appreciate you response, my goal is not to strain anyone or bring stress; I'm just a perfectionist that's all. Anywho, you have a absolutely beautiful voice and I never doubted that you couldn't sing this song! As for the pitch, I thought a note was too high for line four but I think I was just overly tired. Thank you so much for your audition and I hope I didn't stress you out :)

Once again, I am still so sorry haha and thank you so much
