This character will have hundreds of lines throughout season one.
Description: Selor is the leader of a troupe of bandits and pirates, and is one of the main targets of Lucifer's bullying. In his past, he had a habit of falling incredibly lovesick for women, which somewhat tainted his reputation as a prominent criminalistic figure. Selor is no doubt a pirate at heart, however, he does have plenty of redeeming qualities; he is protective of those he cares about and helps those in need, even those who he possibly finds annoying. No fool would dare to challenge him in a battle, as he is talented in not only pirating but fighting as well. A notable feature of his is the large scar on the left side of his face, which he is quite insecure about.
Traits: Menacing, very acute, immoral to a point, loyal, intense, and devoted. 'Chaotic good' is one way to describe him.
Pitch: Medium-low to low.
Context: Selor is in a riff with some thugs, but he is unafraid.
<Menacing but frank> Sorry lad, that's not gonna happen. Save that angst for Xirie, there’s a tournament coming up in a little while. You could use the practice. Oh, and just to let you know… <Intense, creepily> She’s mine to take. And if you even think about capturing her before I do, I’ll kill every last one of you.
Pronunciation: Xirie - zeer ree
Context: Selor is interrogating Kora after a wild escapade.
<Smug, amused> How convenient. The little Phoenix Princess in the flesh! Not surprised that you escaped. <Focused, irritated, retorting to her> Don’t test me. You do not want to see me angry. Push me any further and the only thing left from her will be her severed head.
Context: Selor is calling out to his pirate crew.
<Menacing, irritated> The deal’s off. Men, on my mark! <Concerned, irritated> We're outnumbered, but this isn't his usual battle crew. They aren't prepared for this. I'm positive we can take 'em on. <Pause, softly responding to his crew> Don't worry about it. I trust you all with my life.
