Kotone is a South Korean immigrant who is new to Japan. He has just transferred to Truth Valley Academy when the story begins.
He is an ASMRtist, and can talk in a very calm, soothing voice. However, he is still getting a grasp on the Japanese language, so he tends to be somewhat awkward and verbose. When he is confident in what he is saying, he can be the voice of reason in the room.
His voice range should be mid-to-low. A Korean accent is optional, and I'd rather you only do it if you feel you can pull one off in a respectful manner (or if you are Korean, then that's cool.).
My name....name...name...oh right. I am Kotone Ran, the Ultimate ASMRtist. I specialize in creating audio that tends to trigger a tingling sensation in the listener. And before you ask, no, I do not do THAT kind of ASMR.
Some of my Japanese listeners began complaining when I started speaking Japanese. I am not so sure why. Some of them seem to claim that they prefer listening to a foreign language, and being able to understand ruins it somehow?
