ASGORE is the king of the underground. He's the one all of the monsters look up to for hope, and it wears on him. All he wants is for the monsters to be happy. He's had a sad past; his child and adopted human killed in the same night, and his wife leaving him. He's truly the definition of the phrase "broken king." The voice I'd prefer for him is a deep, kind one. Avoid doing rough and raspy.

  • Human. It was... nice to meet you. Goodbye.

  • I so badly want to say, "would you like a cup of tea?" But... you know how it is.

  • Now, now. There's no need to fight. Why not settle this... over a nice cup of tea?
