Undertale: The Musical
kader for Asgore
Asgore, the Mountain King, shows up towards the end, but his big number is an intimidating showstopper. Despite all this, he's a big softie underneath, doing what he feels he must to save his people. Asgore's presence is felt throughout the play, as are his feelings of love and loss. Bass-baritone.
Human. It has been nice to know you. Goodbye.
Is someone there? Just a minute! Dum de dum de dum... Now, how can I... oh...
(Sing any song - see description for specifications)
Nice audition! I think during the second line you could show a little more shock, sorrow, or what have you during the last "oh." It seems like you were having a little trouble with the lower bass range, especially during the singing session - some of the notes there sounded strained. Thanks for auditioning!
Great! Thank you for the comment. I will be sending in another audition, with your suggestions.
Due to issues with uploading, I will provide a link to my new audition within this comment. Thanks again for the advice. In this audition I have added a more surprised and more sorrowful take of line two, another take of the song, and a bass-baritone classic at the end. link: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0xOJGQR5VlM
Nice audition - much better on the "oh"s this time around. The new song take also didn't sound quite as strained as before, and Old Man River showed me you can indeed reach the bass range comfortably. Thanks for giving it another shot!
Thank you, Alex. I appreciate you letting me give it another go!
