Herntienic is a Breton mage, scholar and teacher working at the College of Winterhold, where he spends most of his time reading books, scrolls, studying at libraries, taking notes and experimenting with spells. He is 42 years old and practically married to his work, he takes great pride in furthering any potential magical advancements that he possibly can. He is wise, curious, open minded and dedicated, but he has little to no patience for those unwilling to learn, those closed minded and those arrogant. Herntienic has no problem with bending laws if it means making a great discovery. He's usually calm and speaks in a neutral tone, but he gets very grumpy when annoyed, interrupted, or when he feels that his time is being wasted. His views on events around Skyrim are very indifferent, he doesn't care about things that don't affect him, his allies or the College. He often uses big fancy and official sounding words when speaking to others. Making an interesting magical or historical discovery are one of the only things that can get him excited. He's a powerful mage with his fair share of knowledge, but he isn't willing to teach it to just anyone, one would have to earn his respect through hard work and dedication, and only then would he be willing to share. After all, he doesn't suffer fools.

-has a medium-deep (medium-low) voice, more on the deeper/lower side, he's not raspy
-he has little patience for bickering, arrogance, those unwilling to take him seriously and pointless conflicts, he also doesn't like being bothered.
-he has great respect for those willing to learn, but no patience for those that aren't.
-He is very passionate about magic, and is always searching for new ways to expand his magical knowledge. He's a powerful mage, a seasoned researcher and has an extreme pride when it comes to his own accomplishments. His extreme pride and confidence often comes off as arrogance, but in truth he is anything but arrogant.
