Raised by her mentor at an early age, Hikari is the upstart Defense Attorney who has reportedly never lost a case and brought down the Conviction Rate down of all Japan. She is an observant individual and a natural leader, although she can be rather blunt and a bit bossy. She also has a natural snark, with the usual victim of it usually being those who are rather....quirky. Hikari also has a strong view on Justice, and will go great lengths to find the truth behind the case. However, she can get rather carried away rather fast, and she tends to put too much belief into those she is defending. Despite this, Hikari spotless record had gotten the attention of Hopes Peak, where she received her title of the Ultimate Defense Attorney.
