She is a powerful, strong-willed character who does not back down from a fight or a challenge. Yet, she is a diplomat who strongly favors words over violence and a lover of peace who would never seek to fight or escalate a conflict. She's simultaneously both the most fierce and most nurturing member of the Justice League. As for the voice, I'm cool with her with or without the accent. Perhaps a more mature sounding voice is appropriate for Wonder Woman since she's meant to command authority amongst super-powered beings. So staying away from a voice like Starfire or Bubbles from the Powerpuff girls is advised. The voice shouldn't be quite as harsh as Undyne's however as she still has to be able to comfort and be nurturing.
