Yuzuru is the teenage son of Kyoko Kirigiri and Mukuro Ikusaba. His parents are married, and are in a polyamorous relationship with Celestia Ludenberg. He sees all three of them as his mothers. Yuzuru's talent became apparent at a young age, and while he enjoys weapons, he seems to only like those with a scope on them. He was scouted for Hope's Peak the year before he went into high school.
