Dani or Daniela is the twin sister of Dorian and one of the main characters in the series. Unlike her brother she is very bad at magic and isn't able to properly cast spells, however she is able to cast powerful and seemingly unbreakable curses and is the only known witch to be able to use magic without a wand. Dani and her brother are very close, she is very protective of him and will not tolerate any disrespect pointed in his way. Dani is also close with Mark Evans and Nico, after having met mark despite Nico describing him as mean and horrible she develops a small crush on him. As for Nico, being one of the first people she met in town she and Nico are very good friends and eventually each-others crushes.
"Hurry Dorian, we're late! Oh no! The bus is leaving!"
(yelling at Dorian to hurry the hell up so they'll catch the bus)"I don't know where your prince is, but wherever he is, and whatever it is that the evil witches are planning we're gonna stop them. At least we will try to."
(convincing Monica to stay so they can help her)"That's not true! Not all of us witches are evil. We're not a threat. I've met charming witches, Good, lovely peaceful people, and absolutely brilliant wizards. But you only judge us and fear us. you persecute us, lock us up, you burn us... And you kill us"
(Dani's internal monologue as she thrashes the guards who killed Alex in front of her)
