 It was to be the pulsing nuclear heart of the third Atomic Bomb that the Los Alamos Laboratory in New Mexico, Project Y, had been preparing. 6.2 Kilos of refined Plutonium and Gallium, ready and waiting to rain its hellfire down on the allies enemies.

The Demon Core was supposed to be detonated over Bikini Atoll, an island chain that the American forces often used for nuclear weapons testing. This did not happen. Instead, the demon core was melted down and reintegrated into the US Nuclear Stockpile, ready to be recast into other cores as and when it was necessary.
