Thelanora is an upperclass Elven town.  Many of the elves living here are very posh, but are polite to visitors and do not look down upon them.  I need a small cast of presenters for this radio station, maybe 2 or 3, to read out adverts and small news segments each week.  The scripts will change each week depending on what the players got up to in the session.  When the party moves away from the town, anyone cast in this role may continue to read out scripts for other radio stations around the world.

  • Hello, and welcome to today's news.  First off, we are pleased to announce that the bandits that have been troubling the area for the past few months have finally been dealt with.  The bandits, that had been attacking trade routes between Thelanora and the surrounding towns, were subdued by a group of immigrant adventurers new to the Quarip Forests.  It is unsure as to how the adventurers dealt with the bandits, but one of the party is rumoured to have said that "things got a little fired up."

    Thelanora = Thee-lan-or-ah
    Quarip = Quar-ip

  • In other news, the authorities are on the lookout for a crazed human man that robbed a magic store.  The man, believed to be in his early 20s, is described as mid height, dark haired, bearded, and possibly insane.  The man stole a Potion of Truth, worth around 500 gold pieces.  The authorities believe he may be linked to a recent string of thefts from local libraries, as well as an accident that resulted in a librarian having their back broken in three places.  If you believe you have seen this man, please get in contact with High Paladin Humphrey Denchbeard.

  • And now for today's final story.  The High King Othar Stonemight has been found dead in his palace.  The Dwarven monarch of Mount Ausimel is believed to have been murdered in his sleep.  Dwarven authorities are on high alert and are searching for clues.  A symbol, two snakes coiled around a dagger, was found etched into the floor next to the King's body.  No other evidence was left at the scene.  That is all for today's news, have a nice day.

    Othar = Oh-thar
    Ausimel = Aus-e-mel
