Holden for Cor Leonis
Cor Leonis, also known as “Cor the Immortal” and “The Marshal,” has known the Amicitia family for years, working closely with King Regis and Clarus Amicitia both. Iris views him as a father figure, often calling him “Uncle Cor.” Initially, Cor is adamant against Iris training to become a hunter, but her persistence finally wins him over. As the years pass, he and Iris work together to protect the people of Eos.
Cor is often very serious, a “no nonsense” type of man, but can be very sympathetic when needed. He has quite a proper, authoritative way of speaking.
(Cor is voiced by Matt Mercer in Final Fantasy XV)
(Reassuring, serious) That day, he didn’t want you to remember him as the king-- in what time you had left, he wanted to be your father. He always had faith in you, that when the time came, you would ascend for the sake of your people.
(Firm, serious, almost concerned) I have to know that you’re serious about this. This isn’t a game, and should not be taken lightly. You need to understand that doing this could very well cost you your life. Regardless of how careful you are, it’s always a risk.
(Proudly, as if he’s speaking to his own child) Your father would be proud of you, as am I. Any king would be lucky to have you as a shield.
