    It sounds like you're trying for an accent, and it's coming across as a strange mixture of Alan Rickman and Peter Lorre. To be honest, it's not working in your favor. This wasn't your strongest audition - you kept going a little flat on the first song. Thanks for giving it a shot!

        One of the biggest things about Mettaton is he's one of two characters in Undertale who has an actual voice clip. A voice clip people apparently think sounds like Markiplier. I think the biggest thing working against you as Mettaton right now is the accent - which are hard to pull off, to be fair. It's got a lot of Alan Rickman, and on second listen a little bit of Tim Curry in it, and while those aren't necessarily bad qualities, they lead people into a trap of "Oh, Alan Rickman/Tim Curry did that voice better." If you want to keep the British accent, that's fine, but making it your own is always better than an imitation. If you want to drop it, then sultriness and ham are still the way to go - he's a performer, after all. For inspiration for what direction to take said sultriness and ham, I've seen him compared to David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and Jojo (which Jojo, I do not know).
