Kaito is the twin brother of Gaito. Do to his looks being similar to that of Gaito he is often seen as the enemy by the other mermaid princesses especially seen in Rina's eyes. He has feelings for Luchia and he had met her a long time ago when he was a kid. He kept her pink pearl with him at all times until Luchia returned to retrieve it back from him.
