Undertale: The Musical
athenamuze for Toriel
An old, motherly goat living in the ruins who takes Frisk in to protect them. Mostly important around the beginning and the end of the musical. Soprano-mezzo.
My child, many monsters you meet in the underground may wish to harm you, or block your way. But if you merely talk to them, you will find there is no conflict you cannot escape.
There's only one way to settle this... prove yourself. Prove you are strong enough to survive.
(Sing any song - see description for specifications)
You took a lot of breaths during the first line. It may be nothing, but from listening to this, I'm a little worried about breath control. The second line sounded a little proud, and even a bit happy, which, considering the context is right before the Toriel battle, doesn't do you any favors. Thanks for auditioning!
The breathing was deliberate and can be changed, as can the reading of the second line. I can easily redo if it would help! Any changes for the song?
If you want to redo it, the song sounds a bit like some of the notes get cut off midway through (e.g. "Come. My child, stay with. Me"), which relates a little to the breath placement issue. If it helps, think of the song more like a lullaby than a dialogue song.
