Officer Gruff is a Boar, one of the local inhabitants of Blackgate, and is one of the five possible partners you can have assigned to you on the Police Force route.
Gruff is described as having a deep, rough voice, standing around 6' 6" and being covered in fur. He works for the police force along with his father, Gryz Tuskweather, The Chief of Police.


When auditioning for Gruff, try to keep in mind this is a very large boar like man, a very well,gruff tone would suit him perfectly. 

  • "Lay down on the ground or perish,outsider!"
    "Get up."
    "Stop talking and get in the back of the car."
    "I'll be asking the questions. How did you get here?"

  • "Who sent you here?"
    "Are there others?"
    "I cannot answer your questions,outsider. You will have to wait until I get you to headquarters."

  • "There are no cameras. I am officer Gruff, and yours..."
    "You're Xander. Now listen,Xander, anything you say will be used to determine your threat to the town. I would suggest you calm down immediately."
