Crotchety, forgetful, and quite senile. This former war veteran gone baseball coach has a coarse, tone about him. He cares about both his son and grandson but isn’t that great at that due to past traumas and age catching up with him allot of the time. He’s a small character but will have occasional lines throughout the series.
Voice Type:
Meidum to Medium-Low. Put on your best oldman voice for this and equip it with a Southern accent. Something that says, “Oh yeah. This is definitely Kamon’s dad.” For a reference, I’d say Dan Castellaneta Grandpa Phil from Hey Arnold by way of wouldn’t be a bad choice or even Steve Kramer from the FLCL dub with a southern drawl.

(Giving Wisdom?) Naota, my boy. Playin’ baseball is allot like makin’ love to a woman. There’s 4 bases, there’s so many eyes watching you, and if you do well enough, we get ice cream and no one’s sad.
