Description: 23 years old, currently studying the last year of History in the same University as Tirs. They met during high school and have been best friends since. Pol has always harbored feelings for Tirs, but when they first met Tirs was already in a relationship with Nil, so he never made a move. Now that Tirs is available, he at first considers confessing, but knowing Tirs’ dream and how hard he’s working in pursuing it, he finally prefers to refrain and keep being just a friend. He’s a cheerful and kind person, but he’s having a tough time trying to cope with his decision and seeing Tirs leave.
(It’s a dialogue, so please record only Pol’s lines)
Pol (smile): "Surprise! Have I woken you up?"
(Tirs: "No, but I just got up! Please tell me those are croissants!")
Pol: "Of course! Come on, invite me to a coffee and we'll have breakfast together!"
(Tirs "Man, I didn't notice I was so hungry!")
Pol: "Hahaha! I told you, you're starving yourself to death!"
(Tirs: "Don't be a drama queen... Although it's true that even Nil commented I didn't look too good.")
Pol (worried): "Really? You know, that's why I came today... Are you alright after seeing Nil last night?"
(Tirs: "I guess? No, really, don't worry about that. I wasn't happy to see him, but I'm not feeling down either. So I'll be okay. I just need more time, a little bit of it.")
Pol (relieved): "I'm glad. Of course, six years with someone are a long time."
"But it's been almost two months, so I'm sure you will find someone else you like soon."
(Tirs (smile): "Who knows. Perhaps. Although I feel it's still too soon for that. But you can never say never.")
Pol (blushing): "So... You don't have someone you might like yet, right?"
(Tirs: "Not yet, no... Hahaha! Do you want me to settle down again so badly? I bet you want to pass the task to nag me to eat and sleep to another person!")
Pol "No, it's not like that! I just..."
Tsundere best friend? I feel like I am being type casted! This was a ton of fun to record, and I will definitely be checking out the final product!
