The scientist plays a vital role near the end of the campaign. He is the sole survivor of the team of scientists sent to investigate Chernobyl. Due to mind control, he is starting to become crazy and eventually betrays the character.
Audition Line Context:
1. You try to tell Hernandez to tell Davis to call off an attack. If you fail, it will result in their death.
2. Hernandez asks you why they need to stop. You explain that the voices in everyone's head are caused by the people you are warning them about. At this point, the Scientist sounds crazy.
3. You are telling Hernandez the situation before he goes off on the final mission.
Wait what?… No! Tell them to stop.... (Hernandez hesitates so you get angry) JUST TELL THEM!
The voices, the ones we’ve been hearing since we got here. That is them!
According to this intel… hmm… well, the journal describes the ‘beings’ as ones of astronomical power... They presumably caused the Chernobyl disaster and are planning a disaster of a much greater scale.
