Midir is an arch knight of Jungby. He has a crush on Aideen (I later had them married). He is gravely wounded in the prologue, protecting Aideen from Prince Gandolf. Despite his efforts, he is defeated. When Aideen gets rescued, Midir chooses to stay in Sigurd's army.
