Teppei is considered a national hero for once saving over 100 people from a burning building. He has rejected an offer to become the head of the paramedical team of a well-known medical facility in Tokyo so he could stay in his hometown.  He’s quiet and stoic, and usually spews sarcastic comments when he opens his mouth. He’s not afraid to be bold if necessary, but also wise beyond his age. He’s shown to have a soft side for those he deems as friends, too.
